Far too many business owners struggle with getting their message in front of the right target audience. They have immense value to share with the world, but the people they can help don’t know they exist.

As a result, business owners feel “invisible” online. None of their content ideas are working, and their social media seems like a lost cause because they’re generating very few quality leads.

But it doesn’t have to be that way.

SAGE Content Marketing teaches you how to generate content that builds authority, rapport, and trust with your target audience and positions you as the industry thought leader people want to work with.

Study, Align, Generate, Evaluate

Here's how the SAGE method works:

In the Study stage, you research your target audience to fully understand the problems they’re experiencing and the pain those problems are creating for them. You put yourself in your audience’s shoes so you can see their world the way they see it. (Most people get this part wrong because they’re looking at these problems from their own perspective rather than from their audience’s point of view.)

In the Align stage, you develop a messaging strategy that aligns with how your audience thinks. Then you create a content plan and calendar to address your audience’s most burning problems and show them how you can fix their problems better than anyone else. This includes the different types of content you’ll need to build authority, rapport, and trust with your target audience and position you as the thought leader in your industry that people want to work with.

In the Generate stage, you implement your content plan in accordance with your content calendar to create a content path that leads your audience from their current situation to the point where they are ready to purchase your product or service.

In the Evaluate stage, you’re using hard data to measure how well your content is performing. You want to identify the content that is working best with your audience so you can create more of it. Perfecting your content strategy requires testing, evaluating, and then retesting on an ongoing basis.

Why SAGE Works

Why SAGE works image

Most online marketing programs focus on tactical “how-to” advice without questioning how well those tactics fit into a business’s overarching messaging strategy.

When business owners decide to try one of these programs, they often experience inconsistent or limited results. Frustrated, they keep trying new programs and tactics, only to experience the same disappointing outcomes.

When they see these same tactics working for others, they assume the problem isn’t the tactic—it’s them!

What they don’t realize is that tactics deliver best results when they’re part of a well-aligned, overarching messaging strategy.

SAGE Content Marketing teaches both strategy and tactics. In addition to obtaining a wide variety of tactics for creating great content, you’ll also learn the strategy and process for figuring out the exact content you need to make meaningful connections with your audience.

SAGE Methodology teaches you how to think like a marketing executive so you can identify which tactics will add value to your messaging and which are shiny distractions.
